The picture here is from Buttonwood Beach in Maryland, where Joe's cousins have a haven away from home. We sat on the beach with them on Sunday and watched a glorious sunset after a near perfect day.
Today I spent the morning at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester PA, helping a group of other Reiki practitioners offer Reiki to the hospice staff; nurses, counselors, cleaning staff and directors all came for a short Reiki treatment. I thought later today how fortunate we are to carry Reiki with us all the time. Later today, I sat on the floor in my in laws' apartment giving my 'other' Mom Reiki on her leg as Joe played the guitar. And I thought of the beauty that Reiki has the ability to bring into every moment of our lives. That no matter what we are doing or how far we travel Reiki goes where we go.
When we are sick, Reiki is there waiting to help us. When we are sad, Reiki is there too. Even when we are angry or upset, Reiki is part of us, flows through us and we have only to ask it to help.
This winter, while we are traveling in England, Ireland and Scotland, while we meet many new people under many new circumstances, we ask Reiki to flow through us, to guide us in sharing it whenever possible, to make us a pure vessel so that we may better serve others in this vast world of ours.
Make today a Reiki today and open your heart to all life. Namaste.
